Ski Lost Valley, Maine. Lost Valley, located in Auburn, operates as a feeder area for many of the larger resorts. It is both affordable and accessible; it is just 45 minutes from both Portland and Augusta, right off the Maine Turnpike.
Although it is a small area, Lost Valley does offer terrain for beginners through intermediates. They are also open for night skiing and have a variety of ticket options available – including an hourly ticket. Lost Valley’s variety of 15 trails (Beginner 30%, Intermediate 50%, Advanced 20%) and a terrain park offer a full and interesting ski day for skiers of all abilities. Most of Lost Valley’s trails are rated easiest and intermediate while offering a challenge to expert skiers on a few difficult trails.
