Iron Will (1994)
Starring Kevin Spacey, Mackenzie Astin, and David Odgen, this inspirational drama is filmed in part in Bingham. It is the story of a man whose courage and strength get him through a cross-country dogsled race.
By Maine author, Steven King, this book made movie is about a fat lawyer that finds himself growing “Thinner” when an old gypsy man places a hex on him. Except for some small shoots in New Hampshire, the film was exclusively shot in Maine. The Augusta House of Pancakes in Augusta is the location for a scene. Many other towns in the Mid-Coast region of Maine were used in the filming as well.
