The Campobello International Park, located on Campobello Island in New Brunswick, Canada is the preserved summer cottage of former president Franklin Delano Roosevelt and their family. The park is the only international park of its kind run by both the Canadian and U.S. governments. Campobello Island is connected to the Maine border town of Lubec by the Franklin Delano Roosevelt Bridge. Roosevelt had spent summers on the island from early childhood and continued to spend summers there with his family until his visits were restricted to only a few throughout his presidency, although his wife Eleanor continued to visit the summer cottage during the years with their five children.
