Welcome to the Rachel Carson Wildlife Refuge, this is a special place in Southern Maine and an ideal place to take a short, scenic stroll and witness the beauty of a north Atlantic Tidal Basin and the Scenic Splendor of Southern Maine’s Coast. The trails are well maintained and railed for safety. The wildlife consists primarily of chipmunks, squirrels and birds. Don’t forget to bring your camera along. Views of the Maine Ocean and Tidal Basins are seen as you wind your way around the path.
