Many of the animals living as the Maine Wildlife Park are orphaned, injured, or human dependent – raised, sometimes illegally, in captivity. The Park serves as a permanent home for wildlife that cannot survive in the wild. All kinds of animals are here for protection and healing. The park provides an opportunity to view and learn about the wild animals that live in Maine and New England. More than 30 different animal species live at the park, tours and unique photographers passes are available.
